The Mighty Muskellunge that haunts the dreams of many an angler! Nature did it best when creating this formidable freshwater fish, I Just tried to capture some of that magic. This life sized trophy measures 52 inches from tip to tail on the print, but in real life you know we'd pinch that tail down, making this beauty measure out somewhere between 53-54 inches. The Muskie is known as the fish of ten thousand casts, and that hard work is well reflected here, having hand carved over ten thousand individual scales and five separate woodblocks to lay down 8 layers of color.

This print takes on a new life hanging on the wall, less like a mount and more like a living fish, hovering, waiting for the perfect moment to explode into pursuit of prey.

All eight layers of this edition of originals were carved inked and printed by hand using a combination of traditional techniques that span history continents and cultures. Printed on Archival Acid free BFK Reeves Paper and will Ship rolled in a large diameter tube for the utmost level of protection.
